Nice trip. Unfortunately I was the only English speaking participant so I was grouped with a Spanish speaking group. On the positive Iris the guide did a great job of including me when she was able and I was provided an audio player of the tour. I would recommend this small group tour, just bring some friends.
Truly a great experience Alessio and Marica were both friendly and professional.
They were both very knowledgeable of the local culture, great conversations.the Pizza Barese and the orecchiette were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.
Thank you Alessio and Marica.

We reserved well in advance, but the day before our cooking class, we were notified that the 7 pm time that we booked would be moved to 2 pm. This messed up the schedule for the rest of our trip. The cooking class itself was entertaining, but for this price I'd expect to get more than a burned focaccia and preciously cooked orecchiette in a thin tomato sauce. Great concept that has lots of room for improvement.
This was a well spent hour in Bari! The tour is along the coast so the view is beautiful. Our tour guide, Christian, was friendly and informative. He was ready and willing to answer any questions we had. The tour covers information about the coast, the buildings, lighthouse, and the port area.
We were only in Bari for a day from a cruise ship and booked this cooking class. We were thrilled! Frederica walked us to the little kitchen and we met Merica (spelling?) who taught us how to make the regional foccacia bread with tomatoes and olives and of course lots of olive oil! We were hands on the whole time, learning the steps with the help of Frederica as interpreter and all around knowledge person of all things regional. Within a few minutes it was like being around the kitchen table at home, hands busy with the food prep and our mouths busy with the news, gossip, and stories of places we've been, traditions of the area, and what it's like to go to Grandma's house every Sunday for pasta and family time. We loved our experience, and since we were off-season, it just by chance turned out we were the only two in the class, so it was very intimate. Frederica gave us some ideas of things to do with our remaining time in port, and we left very full and happy. We will definitely be ma
